Cocobolo Through Neck

A new bass being picked up by it's owner, Neil, at Bassday 2011 in Manchester

Cocobolo Through-Neck Bass

This new bass is the first through-neck instrument I've made in a while.

The neck is maple and wenge, with body wings of ash fronted in a lovely orangey cocobolo.

The neck binding and position markers are also cocobolo.

The pickups are hand wound ( by Wizard pickups in Wales ), and complemented by an extensive control system comprising of two volumes, passive tone control, active 3 way tone controls and the four switches select betweem active/passive, series/parallel and humbucker/single coil.

The One and Only Everson Strat

So..here's a rarety. I'm not in the habit of recreating existing designs, but a good friend asked me to make him a Strat in walnut and here it is.

It has a pau ferro board, with dots in maple. Piezo bridge, flamed maple neck and a single piece of black walnut for a body.

New Basses

This bass, modelled here at a gig by it's owner Simon, is extremely light weight. All the hardware and trim is aluminium and the body is very slim at well under 1.5".

It is based around the Nouveau Simple design, has a maple neck and fingerboard, english cherry body, Hipshot hardware and pickups handwound by Wizard.

New Basses

Here's the first bass of 2011..

Swamp Ash, Maple neck with Birdseye Maple fingerboard and a Rosewood scratchplate.

This bass features a handwound pickup from Wizard and gold hardware from Gotoh and Hipshot.

The 12th fret inlay A50D are the initials of the owner, Andrew, who commissioned this bass for his 50th birthday.
